Girls Rock! Phoenix is excited to announce their fourth full-week summer camp that provides girls, trans, and gender non-conforming youth, ages 8 to 17, an opportunity to RISE UP and ROCK OUT through five days of instrument instruction, song creation, and informative (and fun) workshops. The summer day-camp takes place from June 10-14 with a Showcase on June 15 at 1 p.m. at downtown venue, The Pressroom.

The community showcase is the public’s chance to fill the venue and dance and cheer as the bands formed at camp perform an original song composed and learned just days before! This spirited event is a great way to merge with members of the community and support these bourgeoning rockers! Last year’s showcase was sold out! Please come and be a part of the action.

Showcase information: Saturday, June 15, 2019. Doors open at noon; show starts at 1 p.m., done by 3 p.m. The Pressroom is located at 441 West Madison St., Phoenix, AZ 85003. The venue’s number is 602-396-7136 or visit thepressroomaz.com. Admission is a $10 suggested donation. The bar will serve drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) and food trucks will be onsite throughout the event.
